(Asbury Hills United Methodist Youth Camp)

Description: Starting at the Well House parking area, you turn left at the "Footpath" signpost and follow this easy walking blue blazed loop around the campground lake. You will follow this sandy path along the west shoreline of the lake to a boardwalk that crosses a wetland area. If you look upstream from the wetland, you will see the towering Raven Cliffs. Returning on the east side of the lake, you will pass an amphitheater then cross over a ridge into densely wooded cove where a small creek meanders through lush flora. Be aware that certain sections of the trail may be slippery when wet.

Length: 1 mile.

Fees: No fee, but call ahead to get permission to enter and use the trails within the camp. During the summer when the camp is full, you may not be allowed to walk the trails.

Directions: From Greenville, drive north on US 276 to where SC 8 joins US 276. The camp entrance is approximately 1 mile further on the left. The trailhead is at the parking area for the Well House within the camp.

Hours: Ask about the camp schedule when you call.

Camping: No public camping is permitted.
