Description:
At the parking area there are two hewn timber cabins once used by slaves during the 1800s. From the cabin area you can walk on a short connector and then either way on the easy walking, hardwood mulch covered, out and back main trail. As you walk along this wooded trail, you will see markers describing the trees and shrubs indigenous to this area.

Directions: From downtown Florence, drive east on US 301/76 for approximately 6.0 miles and turn right into Wallace Woods Road. Parking is available at the cabins on the left.

Hours: Dawn to dusk.

Camping: No Camping.
