Cherry Park
(Rock Hill, SC)

TrailMap

Description:
From either parking area, begin this paved, rolling, hiking-biking fitness loop that winds amid tall pine trees on the lower level and snakes along a hardwood ridge above the sprawling park. You may see squirrels, snakes and a variety of birds and other wildlife.

Watch for signs that direct bicyclists and pedestrians to separate tracks on upper sections of the trail. Also, bikes and pets are not permitted on the portion of the trail that loops through the picnic area. Instead, bikes must follow the park drive between the picnic area and the park entrance.

Handicapped accessible. Restrooms are located near the picnic area. Insect repellent is recommended in warm weather. Pets are permitted on a 3-foot leash and must be “curbed” off the trail. Skate boards and roller blades are not permitted on any city trail.

Length: 1.4 miles.

Fees: No fee.

Directions: In Rock Hill, from Exit 82 B on I-77, drive 2 miles southwest on Cherry Road (SC 21 Business). Turn left into the park entrance, bear left, and turn right into the parking area.

Hours: Dawn until 11 p.m. (during daylight savings time) or until 9 p.m. (during standard time).

Camping: No camping.

Information: Rock Hill Parks, Recreation, and Tourism, P.O. Box 11706, Rock Hill, SC, 29703, Telephone: 803-329-5620.
