TrailMap

Description:
Until the connecting trail in the system is completed, you can access finished trails from two separate parks.

From Arrowhead Park, follow the level, paved, hiking/biking, out-and-back trail with a loop around the playing fields at the park. You will parallel city streets through mixed commercial and residential areas. Watch for turning vehicles.

From Riverside Park, you can access two trails, the Pee Dee Trail and the Tanyard loop. You can go either way on the Pee Dee Trail. You can walk north to overlook the Pee Dee River, or south to Southside Park. You can also walk along the north side of Church Street, turn right and loop back, turn left and go north on the Tanyard Loop, which is two loops, one inside the other. The Tanyard Loop passes an over look on the Pee Dee River and then the two loops split. Go to the left and you will return to Riverside Park, go straight and you will cross a footbridge on Tanyard Creek. When you reach the junction with the Pee Dee Trail, turn left to return to Riverside Park.

Restrooms are located at Arrowhead Park. Insect repellent is recommended in warm weather. Pets are permitted on a leash.
