Description:
From the gate at the parking area, begin this short, level, dirt and
wood-chips, hiking/biking loop trail. Just past the playground and
picnic area, you will enter dense, shady woods where several spur trails
lead to other park entrances. After you cross footbridges and skirt
around two ponds rimmed with cypress trees, you will circle back to
where you began. Watch for snakes, lizards, turtles, birds, and a
variety of other wildlife.
Remember to wear
insect repellent in warm weather. Pets are permitted on leashes. There
are no restrooms available in park.

0.5 mile.

No fee.
Directions:
In Florence, drive east on David McLeod Boulevard (Business Spur I-20)
and turn left on
Palmetto Street
(US 76). Drive approximately 1.5 miles and turn right on
Park Avenue.
Drive to the end (approximately 1 mile) and turn right on
Wisteria Drive.
Drive 1 mile to the post-and-rail fence on the left, and park in the
parking area.
Hours:
One hour before dawn to one hour after dusk.
Camping:
No camping.
