TrailMap

Description:
Magnolia Plantation is the centuries-old home of one of the original families of South Carolina’s colonial aristocracy, the Draytons. Two walking trails, the Wildlife Nature and Nature Walk and Hike plus a series of unimproved trails offer an easy walk or bike ride through the 60-acre plantation, a 125-acre waterfowl refuge, and a 60-acre cypress and tupelo black water swamp. You can also rent a canoe and paddle through the largest wildlife refuge area. This area is home for a wide variety of land based and water birds. You may also see a variety of animals such as alligators. Concealed benches and an observation tower allow you to observe wildlife without being seen.

Bicycles must be walked through the garden area.
