Trail Map

Description:
Begin this short, mostly-level, white-blazed, out and back trail with
a loop at the end, by following the dirt path from the picnic area to
the trail kiosk (#1 on the color-coded trail map). You will walk
through grass dotted with wildflowers and clover, and then pass
through a wooded area to an open field, which once served as a
battlefield. At the field, turn left on the dirt road and walk until
you see the trail signs on your left. From there you will loop back to
the starting point. During your hike you may see snakes, deer, turkey,
hawks, rabbits, and a variety of other wildlife. You can vary or add
to your trek by following any of a number of interconnecting trails.
