TrailMap

Description:
You will begin this sloping, woodland path at the trailhead to the right of the Meeting House. This easy-to-follow, dirt trail will guide you through a mixed oak, cedar, and pine forest in an undeveloped area of the park. In the quiet of this area you may hear the songs of many birds, or encounter deer, rabbits, snakes, and other wildlife. During your hike you will cross a road twice, and the second time you will need to go left for approximately 150 feet to reconnect to the trail. Remember to wear insect repellent in warm weather. Pets must be kept on leashes. Restrooms, water, and picnic shelters are available near the museum and camping areas.

Length: 1.1-mile loop.

Directions: From Lancaster, drive north on US 521 for approximately 8.0 miles. Enter Andrew Jackson State Park. Drive to the dead end, and park in the paved lot. The trail is to the right of the Meeting House.
