(Cayce, SC)

TrailMap

Description:
You will find this easy walking loop trail a pleasant diversion from the hustle and bustle surrounding it. Guignard Park is lower than the surrounding area and the trees on its border block out the city traffic. You will walk alongside a small creek, which adds to the atmosphere, and some large rocks on the creek bank offer a place to sit and listen to the trickling water. A picnic area at one end of the park provides a place to enjoy a shady lunchtime break.

Length: Main loop 0.3 mile.

Fees: None.

Directions: From downtown Columbia, drive west on Blossom Street. Guignard Park is on the left at the first traffic light after you cross the Congaree River.

Hours: Dawn to dusk.

Camping: No camping.

Information: Lexington County Recreation Commission, 1500 Dunbar Road, Cayce, SC, 29033, Telephone: 803-791-1361
