Hiking
Trail Description: From the parking area, this basically flat, easy walking, paved trail encircles the ball fields in the complex. You can access the trail by crossing the entrance road and walk clockwise, or walk toward the playground and walk counterclockwise. When there aren’t any sports activities, you can stop at a bench near the playground and just listen to the birds. Lights along the trail allow trail use until 11 P.M. Facilities are available within the park. No pets, bicycles, or motorized vehicles are allowed. Length: 0.6 mile. Fees: No fee. Directions: From Exit 58 on I-20, drive east, or from Exit 111 on I-26, drive west, to Wattling Road. Drive south on Wattling Road for 0.5 mile and turn right onto Old Barnwell. Drive west on Old Barnwell for 1.8 mile and turn left at the fire station. Continue to the small parking area on the right for the trail and playground. Hours: Dawn to 11 P.M. Camping: No camping.
