Description:
This moderately difficult,
blue-blazed two loop trail in the northern portion of the Long
Cane Ranger District was designed especially for recreational
motorcycling.
You will wind through hardwood
bottoms, across drains, and through pine plantations, at times
following old logging roads. Starting from the trailhead on Forest Service Road 505,
you can
ride just the upper loop, or cross FS 505 and the railroad tracks and
extend your ride on the lower loop.
Avoid using this trail during the first two weeks of hunting
season and wear bright colored clothing during the entire hunting
season. Also, be aware that unlicensed vehicles cannot use Forest
Service Roads. Maximum ATV width is 50 inches.

Length:
11.8 miles. A loop of 7.4 miles, a mile of one-way, and a loop of 3.4
miles.
Fees:
Daily $5, or yearly $50 per OHV operator. Also good for Cedar Springs,
Enoree, and Wambaw cycle trails.
A fine of up to $100 will be charged for illegal trespass.
Directions:
From Greenwood, drive west on SC 72 for 4.3 miles
to Beulah Church Road and turn left onto Forest Service Road FS-506.
Drive for 1.7 miles and turn right onto FS-505. The trailhead is 1.9
miles on the left.
Hours:
24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. A working headlight and taillight are required for night riding.
Closed every year from the first Monday in
January until the last Thursday in March.
Camping:
Camping is available at the
Fell Hunt Club.
