North Augusta Greeneway

This flat, 7.5-mile paved greenway trail in North Augusta, meets a growing need for outdoor activities such as walking, biking, and running. It is adjacent to several residential areas and passes by the Riverview Park Activity Center. Named in honor of former North Augusta Mayor Thomas W. Greene, a five-mile segment of abandoned railway corridor was purchased by the City of North Augusta in November 1988 using municipal funds and a State Recreation Trails grant.

Length: 7.5 miles one way.

Fees: None

Directions: From Exit 1 on I 20 at North Augusta, drive south on Martintown Road (SC 230). Turn right onto Georgia Avenue (US 25 Bus), then right again onto West Buena Vista Road. Stay on Buena Vista until it ends at Georgetown Drive. Turn left and continue to Riverview Park.

Hours: Dawn to dusk

Camping: There is no camping.
