Description:
A very popular choice in Columbia, this trail is located 3 miles from downtown in the 1,419 acre Sesquicentennial State Park. Staring from the parking area, you will be riding on a sandy roadbed. Once you reach the loop section, you will see blue signs informing you of the direction of travel. The single track loop winds and rolls through a pine forest with a fast and sandy bottom. The sandy bottom of this trail provides good drainage and this trail can usually be ridden shortly after a hard rain, when other trails in the area are closed. The park also offers  a jogging loop, camping, nature trail, and lake fishing.

Length: 6.1 mile loop

Directions: From downtown Columbia, drive northwest on I-126 to the junction of I-20.  Drive east on I-20 and turn off at Exit 74 (Two Notch Road), then turn left at the light onto Two Notch Rd (US 1). Drive approximately 3 miles and you will see a sign on the right for the park. Enter the park and drive to the bottom of the hill and turn left to the Retreat Center parking area.
