Waterfall Trail
Falls Creek Falls
(Greenville County)

Trail Map
Photo
Description:
The hike up to Falls Creek
Falls involves some steep climbing up an old logging road through a
boulder-choked ravine. Although, after this strenuous, hour-long uphill
journey, you will be treated to two major views of an oft-overlooked
100-foot waterfall – certainly among the finest in Mountain Bridge
Wilderness Area. The first is looking up at the falls, which requires
walking carefully over some slippery rocks and using the guide cable.
The second view is on the eastern side, next to the upper levels of the
falls. You will need to turn right (north) on a short spur that
parallels the stream. Please stay on the path, as there are some rare
and sensitive plants in this area.
