Anne Springs Close Greenway
(Rock Hill, SC)
Trail Map
Description:
You can start from the Greenway Office on Nation Ford Road, cross
US 21 Business and begin the upper, or Springfield Loop, or you can
start from the LeRoy Springs Recreation Complex and do the lower, or
School Trail Loop. Both are an easy hike, or for mountain bikers a technically challenging
single track with multiple climbs/descents and creek crossings. From
either direction you will pass through a forest of hardwoods on your way toward Steele Creek
where a double track trail connecting the two loops features a crossing
on a swinging bridge. Both loops have a beauty of their own, but the
School Loop which circles Fort Mill Middle School, features two tunnels, and a spur to overlook Sugar Creek.
Length:
Approximately 7.9 miles of interconnecting loops.
