flowers and the cinnamon scent of sweet pepperbush (June is best).
Insect repellent is recommended during
the warm months.
Length: 3.5 miles.
Directions: From downtown Columbia,
drive northwest on I-126 to the junction of I-20. Drive east on I-20 and
turn off at Exit 74 (Two Notch Road), then turn left at the light onto
Two Notch Rd (US 1). Drive approximately 3 miles and you will see a sign
on the right for the park. Enter the park and drive to the bottom of the
hill (approximately 1.0 mile) and turn left and park in the Retreat
