This is the largest of
three loop trails in the Manchester Forest and basically follows the perimeter of the area
bordered by SC 261 and Sumter County Roads S-43-51 and S-43-808. You will be
guided by arrows, which
indicate turns and direction of travel. You will
wind through a mixture of forest, open area, and some wetland on a
trail surface that is a mixture
of dirt and sand. Although this area is basically a lowland area, there are enough small hills to
make your ride exciting. Be aware if this trail is overused, it may be closed to allow for recovery.
Also, during wet weather there may soft spots and standing water, which may require
the trail to be closed for maintenance and repairs,
so please wait for drier conditions to avoid damage.

closings, click here:

Individual daily permits are $5.00 and annual permits are $25.00.

(Stoplight) drive south for 8.8 miles and bear right on Sumter County
S-43-51 (toward Rimini). The entrance to the parking is approximately .6
mile on the left.
