Description:
You can start this basically flat, easy walking, out and back paved trail from several points and walk or ride all or part of it. Small green signs on wooden posts provide directions and police call boxes are spaced at various points for your protection.

You will walk or ride on quiet city streets, and some sidewalks as you pass old mill buildings, through two scenic parks, and into the USC Greek Village. At Granby Gardens you can sit along the river and enjoy the sounds of birds and at Olympia Park you sit and enjoy the soothing sound of the creek water flowing through the park.

Length: 1.5 miles.

Fees: No fee.

Directions: Start at Granby Gardens: From I-126 drive south on Huger Street and turn right onto Catawba Street (just before the railroad tracks). Catawba Street ends at the Granby Gardens parking area. From the parking area, walk south on the Granby Gardens Nature Trail.

Start at Olympia Park: From I-126 drive south on Huger St. and turn left right after the railroad tracks (Whaley St.). Turn right onto Olympia St. and left into Olympia Park.

Start at USC Greek Village: From I-126 drive south on Huger St. and turn left right after the railroad tracks (Whaley St.). Turn left onto Lincoln St. and the trail begins at the railroad tracks.

Hours: Dawn to dusk

Camping: No camping.
