Description: From the parking area, begin this paved, level, out-and-back, tree-lined bike path that extends from just west of Kalmia Gardens to downtown Hartsville. If you turn left onto the trail, you will wind through the woods bordering the Gardens, and then pass through a mostly-residential area with large lawns and long driveways. You can continue into the business district by following the bike signs along the sidewalk.

Restrooms are located in the small building behind the Hart House at Kalmia Gardens. Watch for turning vehicles. Bikes are not permitted on the Kalmia Garden trails. Insect repellant is recommended in warm weather. Pets are permitted on a leash.

Length: 1.2 miles (one-way).

Fees: No fee.

Directions: From downtown Hartsville, drive 2.6 miles west on business 151. The third entrance on the right leads directly to the parking area.

Hours: Open 24 hours.

Camping: No camping.
