Description: From the
barn at Table Rock State Park, you will walk for two miles within
the boundary of the park and then enter the Jocassee Gorges area.
The next 10 miles is in one of the some of the most rugged and
remote hiking areas in the State, but you will enjoy mountain top
vistas, waterfalls, and a large boulder field. You may see a variety
of birds, and animals such as whitetailed deer, black bear, and
foxes. During the season you will also see a wide variety
wildflowers.
Be sure to carry water and food if
needed. Insect repellent is recommended in warm months.

Directions:
To Table Rock State Park: From
Greenville, drive North on US 276. SC 11 will join US 276 for
approximately 5.0 miles then branch left. Stay on SC 11 to the West
gate entrance and turn right into Table Rock State Park, and follow
the signs to the Nature Center.
For the Beasley Gap Trailhead: Drive north
from Pickens on US 178. From the junction of US 178 and SC 11 continue
for approximately 4.5 miles to the parking area on the right.
