This is a great trip to just enjoy the outdoors, since
there aren’t many signs of human habitation, but an abundance of birds
and animals. This is a relatively leisure float, but you may encounter
some shallow water right at the start and some fast water as the river
narrows just past the halfway point. Neither of theses areas should
present any problems for canoes or kayaks.
Because there aren’t any public takeout
points between Wilson’s Landing and the Highway 52 Landing, you should
prepare to camp for at least one night. There are a number of sandbars
(more during the summer months) at the halfway point where you can
camp, but be aware of the water levels, and protect your food from the
wildlife.

Cooper at 18009252537 about water release information.
