The Enoree is known as the "River of Muscadines" and ranges from two to seix feet deep and 40 to 70 feet wide. This popular, moderate 36-mile section of the Enoree River flows through South Carolina’s scenic Piedmont to its confluence with the Broad River.

Sedalia Lake is located in Union County and offers many recreational activities, incluidng, fishing, wildlife and plant observation, as well as hiking trails. The Sedalia Lake Trail also links up with the Enoree Passage of the Palmetto Trail.

The Enoree Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Trail travels along rolling piedmont hills and pine forests. With interconnecting loops, riders have an opportunity for rides of various length. The trail is only managed for all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and dirt bikes.

The Jew’s Harp Spring was used to provide water for Orange Hall, a nearby plantation, in the 1800s. Scattered bricks are the only remains of the house. The name of the spring is derived from its shape–that of a Jew’s harp. It was carved from a solid piece of granite by J. E. Sherman in the 1860s.

The Molly’s Rock Picnic Area, built on the site of an old homestead, is located near a massive granite boulder known locally as Molly’s Rock. The origin of this name is uncertain because there are several different accounts of its source. The picnic shelter was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) sometime between 1936 and 1942.

Like its sister, the Enoree River, the Tyger is generally shallow and narrow. Although there is some whitewater in the upper sections, the overwhelming majority is brisk flatwater.

This trail winds through forested hill and valley terrain. Points of interest include old cemeteries, wagon roads, and plantation sites. Opportunities also exist to view various wildlife species and abundant plant life. With interconnecting loops, riders have an opportunity for various length rides. Hikers and mountain bikers are also welcome.

This moderately easy section of the Palmetto Trail winds through pine ridges and hardwood bottomlands, and crosses two major creeks, the Gilders and Indian and the Enoree River. You will also pass by three small lakes, the Sedalia, John's Creek, and Wildcat. This forest area is home to a variety of wildlife such as white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and many species of songbirds.

This moderately difficult loop trail encircles what was the scene of the Battle of Blackstock, which took place on November 18, 1760. During the battle, 96 British troops were killed and buried on this site. The land has not been disturbed since the battle and evidence of some placements are still evident. Displays throughout the area show information about plants and animals in this area.

Woods Ferry Recreation Area, in western Chester County, lies within a beautiful wooded floodplain surrounded by upland pine woods and maturing hardwood forests.
