Northside Greenway is a paved, mostly-level, multi-use, out-and-back trail that parallels Dave Lyle Boulevard and Manchester Creek as it winds through quiet woods near TechPark. The Northside Greenway can be accessed at the Northside Recreation Center on the Iredell Road side parking lot or from within Tech (Business) Park.

Vereen Memorial Gardens has been a bit of a "Hidden Jewel" for 30 years. The park features numerous hiking trails and wooden boardwalks that extend across several beautiful salt marshes and small islands, with a nice gazebo that overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway.

This moderately difficult loop trail encircles what was the scene of the Battle of Blackstock, which took place on November 18, 1760. During the battle, 96 British troops were killed and buried on this site. The land has not been disturbed since the battle and evidence of some placements are still evident. Displays throughout the area show information about plants and animals in this area.

This 1.3-mile passage of the Palmetto Trail begins on the campus of the University of South Carolina Upstate campus in Spartanburg, SC, and dives into a wooded forest on the banks of the Lawson’s Fork Creek.

Turkey Creek is one of the CSRA's old school trails. Much of the trail is carved into the hillside along Turkey Creek, with many nice views. Lots of bridges, and some roots, but nothing difficult. Wine Creek is across Key Road from Turkey.
