Northside Greenway is a paved, mostly-level, multi-use, out-and-back trail that parallels Dave Lyle Boulevard and Manchester Creek as it winds through quiet woods near TechPark. The Northside Greenway can be accessed at the Northside Recreation Center on the Iredell Road side parking lot or from within Tech (Business) Park.

From either parking area, begin this network of well-marked, color-coded, easy-to-follow nature trails that wind along the Catawba River, Manchester Creek and surrounding wetland. As you pass beneath tall trees, including black walnut, shagbark hickory, and sycamore, you may see a variety of birds, snakes, and other wildlife.

On the Fort Mill Gateway, you will parallel a busy thoroughfare as you wind through a peach orchard, and meticulously landscaped green space. At the far end of the trail, you can loop around a pond that provides natural habitat for coots, ducks, and a variety of other wildlife.

The Shaver Complex Fitness Trail is a fairly flat, rubberized-surface, foot-traffic only trail that circles an open area of baseball fields, playgrounds, and the recreation area. The Bruce Hill Trail is a hilly, gravel surface, hiking/biking, out-and-back trail that links the fitness complex with the Bruce Hill community as part of the Seneca Greenway System.
