Brookwood Park is an attractive, tree-shaded multi-purpose park within a stable neighborhood near the Landrum central business district. It includes both active and passive recreational opportunities, including a scenic walking trail, playground area and picnic shelter. The Palmetto Trail's Peach Country Passage also runs through Brookwood Park.

This is currently my favorite trail for many reasons, but I'll just name one... the wildlife is abundant (squirrels, woodpeckers, red tail hawks, minnows, orchids, maples, oaks, even a peach tree!). This year, a crop of money plants grew. Just beautiful.
