Summary:
Edisto State Park includes a dense maritime forest and an expansive salt marsh where visitors can explore the wonders of nature. For overnight guests, the park offers vacation cabins and a campground.
A series of short, mostly level trails wind through Edisto Island’s maritime forest of live oak, hanging Spanish moss, and palmetto trees. During your walk you may see white-tailed deer, osprey, or alligators, and may even catch a glimpse of the wary bobcats. This short .3-mile trail takes you from the campground to the Scott Creek Trail.

Note: Pets are not allowed in the cabins or the cabin areas.
Directions:From Highway 17: Take Hwy 174, 28 miles to entrance of the town of Edisto Beach. As you enter the town limits, the entrance to the park will be on your left.
