Summary:
This is a 1.2 mile, 22 feet wide, paved road course for bicycles only. It is an opportunity for individuals who are not comfortable riding on busy streets to still enjoy riding on a road surface. This course offers a smooth, asphalt surface with flat, downhill and uphill sections.
Parking and restrooms are located next to the Rock Hill BMX/Supercross track. This paved road course is approximately 1.2 miles long, 22 feet wide, and is off-limits to motorized vehicles, skateboarders, pets and pedestrians for the safety of the riders. This facility provides a safe place for new road cyclists to gain experience on their bicycle before taking to the open road or a for high level cyclists to train and compete in occasional events.
If riders are looking for a different experience, this course is next to a BMX and Pump tracks that offers BMX bike rentals and other programs run by the City of Rock Hill. For additional mileage, riders can also ride on the roads in Riverwalk down to the multi-use Piedmont Medical Center Trail that follows the Catawba River.
