Dorothy B. Kearns Park is a nice natural area which has been protected from development along the marshes of Mount Pleasant. There are several points that offer great views of the wetland and of the Wando River.

Loading Trails

Kearns Park Trail incorporates history, natural beauty and environmental awareness. Located off of Wando Park Boulevard just before Etiwan Pointe, Kearns Park Trail meanders through a maritime forest along the Wando river giving stunning views of the harbor, bridges, and marshes. Benches are located along the trail at scenic spots and interpretive signage provides information about the various sights. Parking is available on site and pets are welcome.
