Summary:

The Eagle Trail is a paved, level multi-use trail with a loop around Winthrop Coliseum. The trail also connects with the Cherry Park Trail at the corner of Caswell Street near Sullivan Middle School.

Loading Trails

Begin this paved, level, multi-use, out-and-back trail, with a loop around Winthrop Coliseum, from the parking area in Winthrop Park. Follow the paved path between the tennis courts and ball diamond, and use caution crossing the street. As you parallel Eden Terrace, you will pass the Coliseum, Cherry Park, and Sullivan Middle School. You may also choose to ride around Winthrop Lake near the coliseum with a short trip over to nearby Glencairn Garden via a marked park to park bike route.

Insect repellent is recommended in warm weather. Pets are permitted on a leash. Skateboards and rollerblades are not permitted on any city trail

Directions:

In Rock Hill, from Exit 82 B on I-77: Drive 2.5 miles southwest on Cherry Road (SC 21 Business) and turn left on Richmond. Drive to the stop sign, and turn right on Eden Terrace. The park entrance is 0.2 mile on the right.
