This area is locally referred to as “The cradle of Greenville,” and is historically relevant to the textile industry in the upstate of South Carolina. A cabin, remnants of the old McBee Mill, and the Vardy Mill are scattered throughout the area.

Five gardens provide a wide assortment of plants and flowers, but the highlights of natural beauty are the small rushing waterfalls, which are short drops, but still provide the soothing sound of falling water. This is a pleasant and informative hike for any age.
