Lee State Park's rich diversity of natural habitats and wildlife make it an ideal setting for nature walks and the interpretive, educational programs hosted on site. This is an easy nature hiking trail and boardwalk located within the park.

Loading Trails

From the parking area at the office, walk toward the pond and picnic tables until you reach the trail kiosk. You will follow this easy-walking path across a foot­bridge and over two artesian springs that feed the pond. As you follow the loop through the wooded area and taller grass, watch for turtles, snakes, and other wildlife.

Directions:

From I-20 Exit 123 near Bishopville: Drive 1.2 miles north on SC 22. Turn left into the park entrance and drive 1.2 miles to the stop sign. Turn left, and drive to the parking area in front of the office.
