Summary:
The Newberry Recreation Complex is open to the public for daily use from 8 am - 8 pm. In addition to the Hidden Lake Nature Trail, you can explore the Gully Washer Splash Pad ($3 per person), accessible playground, multiple baseball/softball fields, multipurpose fields, picnic shelters, outdoor ping pong, pickleball, and an outdoor fitness rig. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
Starting at the Newberry Recreation complex, this TRACK Trail follows a 0.77 mile loop around the 4.75-acre Hidden Lake. A wide, natural path winds through the trees and along the bank of Hidden Lake. While adventuring, keep your eyes open and be on the lookout for turtles, fish, frogs and birds. Note: swimming is not allowed in the lake.

This trail is an official Kids in Parks TRACK Trail. Kids in Parks is a FREE, national program that connects families to the outdoors through hands-on exploration.
