Just past the playground and picnic area, you will enter dense, shady woods where several spur trails lead to other park entrances. After you cross footbridges and skirt around two ponds rimmed with cypress trees, you will circle back to where you began. Watch for snakes, lizards, turtles, birds, and a variety of other wildlife.

Remember to wear insect repellent in warm weather. Pets are permitted on leashes. There are no restrooms available in park.

Hours: One hour before dawn to one hour after dusk.
