Summary:

Named for Tom Moore Craig, a civilian who ran the bank at Croft during its time as a military camp and led the movement to have the federal government give this land to the state for a park.

Loading Trails

Lake Craig is a man-made lake located within Croft State Park. The lake is fed by Kelsey Creek. This scenic trail is a short, hiking only footpath that borders the lake. Canoe, kayak and boat rentals are available or bring your own. A boat ramp and campgrounds are available.

Restrooms are available in the parking area near the equine supply store. Insect repellent is recommended during warm weather.  Pets are permitted on leashes.

This is a former Army training facility. Visitors are asked to stay on trails and in recreation areas. Do not disturb unfamiliar objects.
