Summary:
This campus sits on 600 acres of beautifully manicured greenspace - one of the largest corporate greenspaces in the Southeast and a nationally recognized arboretum – that was once a peach orchard. Milliken Arboretum does contain a system of official trails, but there are no trail maps at the parking area, and the trails often blend in with the large mown grass areas.
Located on the private corporate campus of Milliken and Company, the rolling green space has been the site of numerous 5 K cross-country events, including the NCAA National Cross-Country Championship, Jr. Olympic National Cross-Country Championship, Eye Opener Cross-Country Race, and Milliken Earth Run. This is an all-grass course. Although it is part of a 600-acre private corporate campus, Milliken makes the nationally recognized corporate arboretum available for approved community events. Facility can accommodate additional distances.
The Arboretum is open to the public.
