At the southern tip of Georgetown, just beyond East Bay Park, you can come to Morgan Park to walk the short boardwalk and trails which lead you through the woods and give you some great views of the Sampit River and Winyah Bay.

This Georgetown park features a boardwalk through a maritime forest, a picnic shelter and a mile of shoreline along the river for a scenic stroll at low tide. A short boardwalk and nature trails lead you through the woods and give you some great views of the waterways—including a cypress snag. Morgan Park is right beyond East Bay Park, another nice park located in Georgetown.
