Loading Trails

At the kiosk near the pavilion, begin this short, easy-walking, foot traffic only, dirt trail. After a short walk, you will come to a fork. Stay to the left and you will cross a paved park road and circle down hill to the lake. As you pass near the lake, you may see an assortment of birds, deer, snakes and other wildlife. You will cross the paved road again and then pass through a hardwood and pine forest where you will return to the start. If you wish to extend your hike, or switch to bike, the Sadlers Creek Biking Trail is located nearby intersecting the paved park road.

Directions:

From Exit 14 on I-85 near Anderson: Drive south on SC 187 for approximately 12.5 miles. Turn right onto Sadlers Creek Road and drive 1.2 miles to the park entrance. Turn left at the park office sign and continue to the parking area. The trail is located next to the first pavilion on the right.
