Dorchester County Parks and Recreation Department operates Richard H. Rosebrock Park, which is a seventy acre natural area offering 1.5 miles of hiking trails adjacent to the Ashley State Scenic River, and located near the intersection of Highways 165 and 61.

Loading Trails

The park is named after former County Councilman, Richard H. Rosebrock, and opened to the public in September of 2011. Rosebrock Park features 1.5 miles of hiking trails that lead visitors from the parking lot trailhead through floodplain forest and ultimately to the banks of the Ashley Scenic River. The facility is located at 507 Beech Hill Road and is open from dawn to dusk.
