This is a very compact trail in a 26 acre park, but it offers some good training opportunities and a very accessible location for those who live in the city. Most of the local riders ride this trail during the week for fitness and to practice their skills for longer events on the weekend. You’ll be amazed at the diversity of this short singletrack, which includes tight turns, rocks, a series of switchbacks, and some jumps. Also, even though there isn’t a big elevation change, several short steeps and some technical descents can make your ride exciting. Water and facilities are available in the park.

Hours: Dawn to dusk

Directions:

From Exit 42 on I-385: Drive north on Laurens Road (US 276) and turn right onto East North Street. Drive approximately one mile and turn left onto Blackburn Street. Timmons Park is at the end of Blackburn Street.
