This flat paved easy walking trial loops throughout the park connecting a series of shelters, the ball parks, and an amphitheater. Along the trail are also spots where you can stop, sit, and just enjoy the outdoors. There is also a new walking path near the Athletic Complex.

This series of easy multi­-use paved trials provides the feeling of walking in a wilderness, but is within the Harbison neighborhoods. There are a number of loops you can choose from, and by using spurs or connectors along with neighborhood streets you can create your own.

Cross Harris Street and follow the rolling, occasionally-steep, paved, out-and-back hiking trail that winds through upland habitat of hardwood trees draped with ivy and kudzu. You can also hike a short, level, concrete loop past a playground, basketball court, ball field, and picnic pavilion.

Hartwell Lake is one of the southeast’s largest and most popular public recreation lakes. The lake is created by Hartwell Dam located on the Savannah River seven miles below the point at which the Tugaloo and Seneca Rivers join to form the Savannah.
