SC Trails

The Jones Gap Trail is a moderately difficult trail that delves into some of the Upstate’s most scenic country.

Aiken State Park is as rich in its history as it is natural beauty. The Jungle Nature Trail is a 3-mile boardwalk and dirt turf loop through wetlands, mixed pine and hardwood forest.

Take a stroll and enjoy this trail network which will take you through 30 acres of beautiful gardens, pine and oak uplands, and flood plain forest.

This park is located in the City of Aiken and provides visitors with a playground area, tennis courts, a basketball court, a picnic shelter and a paved walking path.

The upper section of Kanuga between Brissy Ridge and Fire Tower connector is either an easy climb or a super fun ride with nice flow depending on your direction. The downhill section going to the lake is a bit more intense however. You can really pick up speed and obstacles pop up fast some times.

This park is located in Laurens County and offers the public a boat ramp, as well as a picnic shelter, playground and nice walking trail.

The paved trail surrounds four baseball fields and is approximately 1/2 mile in length. There is also a custom playground system and restrooms located at this complex.

Keowee Elementary School, located in the City of Seneca, provides a scenic walking trail that circles a multi-purpose field.

The 1/4-mile Kerrigan Trail—located on Huntington Beach State Park—and numerous boardwalks extend out into the saltmarsh and freshwater lagoon for exceptional wildlife viewing.

The Kershaw County West Complex, located in Lugoff, offers a fully ADA-compatible community playground, as well as picnic shelters, restrooms and a paved walking path.
