The Sadlers Creek State Park Biking Trail is a well groomed, mostly level, dirt and pine needle covered, beginners mountain biking and hiking trail.

Saluda Mountains Passage runs along the ridge defining the northern perimeter of the Poinsett Watershed and the border between the Carolinas. The 19,000-acre watershed is a pristine wilderness area with remarkable habitat for rare plants and animals, including the threatened Peregrine falcon.

This flat paved trail starts at the parking area and encircles the park. Large trees shade and protect you from the sun while walking during the day. A gazebo provides a place to rest or relax during your walk.

Saluda Riverwalk was formally established as a city park in June 2021. Even before this park was formally established, it had been a recreational playground for several years. This is a perfect location for kayakers and tubers to paddle and float along the river, especially with the new ease-of-entry access point below the boardwalk near the main Candi Lane parking lot.

It doesn’t get any better than Saluda Shoals Park... Trail heads at the Environmental Center are the perfect place to begin walking or bike riding on a variety of paved and unpaved trails.

Samworth WMA, located in Georgetown, was a gift to the sportsmen of South Carolina from Thomas G. Samworth. A public boat launch, fishing opportunities, bird watching opportunities, a nature trail and river access for canoeing and kayaking are all available on this property.

One of several CCC parks in the state, Lee State Park was built in 1935 by the CCC in order to provide riverside recreational opportunities for the residents of Lee County, South Carolina. This is a short, easy-walking, nature trail located within the park.

This resurfaced and stroller-friendly trail circles the park’s 30-acre lake. Hikers, bikers and joggers will enjoy the sights and sounds of the Sandhills as they venture into the forest and through wetlands on boardwalks.
