The Jew’s Harp Spring was used to provide water for Orange Hall, a nearby plantation, in the 1800s. Scattered bricks are the only remains of the house. The name of the spring is derived from its shape–that of a Jew’s harp. It was carved from a solid piece of granite by J. E. Sherman in the 1860s.

Adair Outdoor Education Center is a special place in Laurens County—complete with a restored 1800’s log cabin, man-made waterfall and bird sanctuary, hiking trails, a Native American village, butterfly garden, a handicapped accessible garden and a state-of-the-art education building. The upper section of Kanuga between Brissy Ridge and Fire Tower connector is either an easy climb or a super fun ride with nice flow depending on your direction. The downhill section going to the lake is a bit more intense however. You can really pick up speed and obstacles pop up fast some times.
