Huckle Grove is an historic tree park located in downtown Rock Hill. This one acre pedestrian park provides a paved walking path and offers a unique look into our country's past. Many of the trees in the park were cultivated from trees which witnessed historic events in the founding of our country. Each tree has its own story to tell.

On the Hutchinson Island trail, you will come to St. Helena Sound where you may be treated to a wide range of birds such as pelicans, terns, gulls, cormorants, and loons. Later, you will follow towards the narrow entrance to Rock Creek. The water can be rough in this area during bad weather.

This pretty, easy paddling section ranges from 50 to 100 wide at various points. You may see an abundance of animals and birds including herons, eagles, and American egrets. Numerous sandbars and islands along the way provide an opportunity to stop for lunch, camping, or just to rest a bit. Although you will not see many signs of human habitation there is one landmark you may want to visit, Battery Warren.

Jarrott’s Mill Pond Trail is part of the City of Florence’s trail system. This scenic out-and-back trail includes a boardwalk through a wetland area.

The Leisure Loop at Jarvis Creek Park is an easy .85 mile paved loop. The loop starts behind the restrooms. There's a small pier at the start of the trail with access to a dock. If you start off counterclockwise, you'll pass a fitness station to your left.
