The St. Anne's Trail begins at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Bird Street and runs parallel to Poe Street taking you to Church Street. This is a paved multi-use trail within the City's trail system.

St. Luke Park is a wonderful park for a nice stroll located in Georgetown. The park is also the site of the St. Paul Senior Center and there is a ball field, basketball court, playground and picnic area provided at the facility.

St. Phillips is a jewel off of the South Carolina coast, a pristine barrier island suffused with the natural beauty of the Lowcountry.

Located at the back of the property along Hwy 246 is the Star Fort Pond, a 26-acre lake. Fishing is allowed Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday April 1 to November 1. The times for fishing are from 30 minutes before sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset.

The State House Walking Trails consist of four different paths—varying in length from a quarter-mile to one mile—which were conceptualized as part of the Healthier State House Initiative by partnerships from the YMCA, SCHA, SCPRT and the joint legislative grounds committee.

This 1/2-mile trail leads into Sumter National Forest and ends at Station Cove Falls. In the Springtime, the wild flowers bloom in glorious abundance and add to the experience. The trail is relatively flat, well maintained and easy to walk.

On the descent from the trailhead, it’s hard to envision the magic that Stevens Creek Heritage Preserve promises. Then as the plunge downhill accelerates, there is a shift in the air.
