Located on the corner of Grove Street and West Cambridge Avenue, West Cambridge Park is an eleven-acre passive park that occupies an abandoned railroad switching yard. The site offers a playground area, gazebo, restrooms and walking trails.

This loop trail provides great views of Cedar Creek where otters and wading birds are regularly observed. The eastern portion of this trail follows a cypress-tupelo slough (dried up river bed) where many cypress knees can be seen sticking up out of the water.

The NWTF Nature Trail is a steep, multiple-loop path through mixed woodland and open fields. Interpretive signs mark the Tenant Farm site, Erosion Gullies, Rock Crossing, and other historical and natural land features.

The South Carolina Park Service manages a piece of land off of highway 11 between Caesar’s Head and Jones Gap state parks called Wildcat Wayside. The short trail begins with a steep set of stairs climbing right beside a small, but beautiful, waterfall.
