Journey from the past to the present and heritage to habitat at the Ravenel Caw Caw Interpretive Center. Rich in natural, cultural and historical resources, Caw Caw was once part of several rice plantations and home to enslaved Africans who applied their technology and skills in agriculture to carve the series of rice fields out of cypress swamps.

The Cayce / West Columbia Riverwalk opens the Congaree River for walking, jogging, bicycling, and just gazing at the natural beauty. Its path accommodates all levels of physical access including baby carriages and wheelchairs.

Calhoun Falls State Park offers a moderately difficult 1.75-mile loop trail, named the Cedar Bluff Nature Trail.

Flowing through the heart of Congaree National Park, Cedar Creek is a major part of this dynamic floodplain wilderness area. It could be the finest canoe trail in the Midlands, too, since floating this dark waterway feels like taking a trip back to prehistoric times.

There's a nice partially paved hiking trail at Cedar Falls Park that runs alongside the waterfall and dam and then along the Reedy River. There are also other beautiful walking paths and mountain bike trails.

Cedar Springs Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Trail is located in the northern portion of the Long Cane Ranger District. The trail is only managed for allterrain vehicles (ATV) and dirt bikes. Jeeps, Hummers and other four-wheel-drive vehicles are not permitted. Golf carts also are not allowed.

This passage joins the Braille Trail, located on the campus of the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind, and is designed to meet the needs of their students. Cedar Springs then meets up with the Hub City Connector.
