SC Trails

On the Craig Park portion of this trail, you will walk amid tall, shady trees in a quiet, hilly, creek-side park with playground and picnic areas. On the Community Center portion of the trail, you will follow an occasionally rugged, winding trail through woodland habitat, over footbridges and a suspension bridge that spans Thompson Creek.

Andrew Jackson State Park combines history, art and community activities into a setting that has made it one of the S.C. State Park Service’s most popular attractions. The Crawford Trail is an easy-to-follow, dirt trail that will guide you through a wooded area of the park.

This is a 1.2 mile, 22 feet wide, paved road course for bicycles only. It is an opportunity for individuals who are not comfortable riding on busy streets to still enjoy riding on a road surface. This course offers a smooth, asphalt surface with flat, downhill and uphill sections. 

Here is a trail that serves hikers, bikes, and horses with something for all, but you have to alert about who can go where. Hikers can use the entire trail, but horses and bikers only parts

Horseback riding in South Carolina state parks is widely popular, and Spartanburg's Croft State Park is known around the region for its equestrian facilities. The park regularly hosts shows in its arena and boasts more than 20 miles of equestrian trails.

Crooked Creek Park offers a wide variety of recreational, cultural, instructional and social activities, and hosts visitors of all ages throughout the day. The park offers users many fun and recreational outlets, including paved and unpaved trails.

The Crooked Pine Trail is a hardpacked dirt path with a few small rocky sections and some small boardwalks.

This .8 acre park is operated by the City of Aiken Parks, Recreation & Tourism and provides a playground, basketball court, a greenspace, a picnic shelter, as well as a walking path.

This hatchery is and easy float and also a popular fishing spot on the shores of Lake Moultrie.

Town of Cross Hill offers a paved walking path the is looped on both ends with a bridge connected the loops. There are also benches along the way for users to take a break and enjoy the scenery on a nice day.
