The Town of Lyman's Rail Trail stretches for almost a half-mile from Lawrence Street to Spartanburg Road, and connects to the Town's amphitheater.

At Lynch's Woods Park, a 4.2-mile gravel road circles through the woodlands, offering access to 7.5 miles of hiking and biking trails. There are also equestrian trails available at this park. A three-mile section of the cross-state Palmetto Trail also runs through the Piedmont park and connects to six miles of equestrian paths.

Lynch’s Woods Park is a well-kept secret tucked behind a strip of businesses off Hwy 76 on the south side of the charming city of Newberry. Created by the 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps, the park protects 276 acres of woodlands full of old-growth hardwoods and the rambling Rock Branch Creek and tributaries.
