Marsh Island Park is a coastal hammock island that provides a substantial area of natural habitat for a variety of wildlife species. The park provides a lookout tower and can be accessed by a trail and boardwalk by foot or bike.

You will walk or ride through a lush coastal forest and on the dikes once used by the rice planters. The major feature of this trail is an 800-foot boardwalk that extends into a pond where you can see majestic bald cypress and water tupelo, all draped in Spanish moss.
